Is the confidence one of the reasons why we cannot find the “right one”?Need to be loved – such basic, but also fundamental need that can determine our happiness. Caring for the others can enhance our happiness levels, but deep in our hearts, we want to be respected, loved, and supported also.
Why do we seek love?
Well, love itself is a phenomenon and the theories behind it are endless. One thing is assured – the path to getting there can be quite complex, starting from the fact that falling in love today is unfortunately socially defined. If we’re not experiencing a true love story, we probably won’t even bond. Commitment, passion, and companionship need to be present on both sides. Once we find our significant one, we take the effort to maintain our relationship and give all we can, expecting to be returned. Well much easier said than done, obviously.
Where is the problem?
Well, as I already said the process of finding the right person is extremely tough, so we often end up disappointed, frustrated, drained and unfulfilled. At the end, I think it’s always better to be alone, then in an unhealthy relationship.
But then there is a question how do we know it’s an unhealthy relationship?
So, always listen to your guts. If you’re not feeling good-end it, it’s not worth of suffering.
